We regularly have 65-70 members at our rehearsals, with nearly 100 on our books.
We sing concerts locally, with a main Summer Charity Concert and then several Christmas converts such as the Nine Lessons and Carols at St Mary's Church.
If you are 18 and over, we welcome you to join our Community Choir, no audition needed.
We have four sections: soprano, alto, tenor, and brass. When we sing a whole piece through with all four parts, we are delighted with the sound that we are generating.
We have some lovely pieces of music, that's to a donation from the OneFamily Foundation, such as selections from the musicals 'Oliver'; Les Miserables, Mama Mia and sacred classics including 'Jesu, Joy or Man's Desiring', then 'Bridge over Troubled Water' and 'Songs from Broadway'.
We also have a 'Small Choir' who are able to sing at smaller local venues, for a token donation. We are a Community Choir and want to sing in our community and spread the joy that it brings.
Singing is good for your health, so why not consider joining us? Come along, you may already know many of us, and if not it's a good chance to get to know us.
Contact us on: wythallcommunitychoir@gmail.com or go to our website, here. Alternatively just turn up on a Monday night.
We look forward to meeting you!
