Wellbeing Through Nature Workshop

Last January, myself and our work experience girl, Madie, had the amazing opportunity to go on a Mindfulness Walk with CoachGenie

You can read all about our experience here

Wendy Palmer-Grove who ran the workshop contacted us recently so we could let our readers know that she is running a 'Wellbeing Through Nature Workshop' later in the year.

Wendy has said: "As we fast approach Springtime, I thought I would share this current Wellbeing Through Nature workshop. Based from the lovely venue The View @ Hill Farm Marina in Henley In Arden.

Our morning walk will take us on approx 3 mile walk covering canal paths, pasture and woodland-the superb Austy woods are nearby. We will have time to explore a little ecotherapy whilst we amble, forage or take note of the nature we pass through, to transfer to our afternoon of art.

Landing back at base around midday, having blown the winter cobwebs away, where you can grab a hot drink (included in ticket cost). The cafe offers delicious homemade food & cakes, so there will be time to eat if you wish before we head off upstairs to a private space to create something tangible from your morning experience.

Liz a local artist will help guide you through the afternoon to create something maybe in collage, drawing, painting or something you've foraged (art materials incl in your ticket cost). No experience required.

Lots of stress-busting and fun...a great, small group experience. To book, please contact me directly by email or 07763 632176."

If that sounds like something that would appeal to you be sure to contact Wendy, either by ringing her on the number above or by emailing her, by clicking here

We thoroughly enjoyed our workshop with CoachGenie and would recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
