Wythall News - An introduction

Hello and welcome to a brand new newspaper - Wythall News!

It is run by two local residents - Leigh Osborne and Rachel Keen. We have lived in the village of Wythall from childhood and love it here.

We met at school and became firm friends. As we've grown up and found our own careers we realised that if we collaborated we could make something really special!

Leigh Osborne is a journalism student studying at the University of Worcester. She will be writing, editing and taking the photographs for the articles you read. As well as studying, Leigh is also a freelance writer, creating scripts and articles for a variety of different websites.

Rachel Keen is pursuing a career in digital marketing. Rachel has been studying digital marketing as an apprentice for over a year and has built up an impressive skillset. She will be working behind the scenes on the website, marketing and social media.

Our vision for this news paper is for it to be local. Local news for local residents written by two local girls. We want it to be a hub of information for all things Wythall!

We will be covering all the goings on in the village, from PACT meetings to lost dogs. We truly want this newspaper to be a great source of entertainment and knowledge for all residents of Wythall.

Stay tuned for exciting posts to come!
