I think we can all agree that 2020 was one hell of a year. Everyone suffered in different ways, but charities have faced their toughest year ever.
We have decided to share a charity every month and encourage our readers to support them in any way they can.
The second charity we are sharing is Age UK.
Age UK helps support older people who need help with a range of different things. From loneliness, IT training, handy person services, help with shopping and so much more.
225,000 older people often go a week without speaking to anyone, which is jus heartbreaking.
Age UK have a service where people can volunteer to chat on the phone with an older person weekly. to help combat loneliness.
Making a donation helps ensure that older people get the care and attention they deserve.
When so many people are suffering with loneliness due to COVID-19, its important that we help everyone in our community and ensure no one is left behind.
