During lockdown most of us spent a lot of time watching TV. Whether that was films or binge watching box sets we've all been stationed on the sofa for the last year.
That got us thinking, pop culture is something we really haven't delved into on Wythall News, mainly sticking to news article, features and the occasional video.
We wanted to create a more diverse site and get our readers involved.
So we've launched a film club!
We'll be picking films for our readers to watch each month, and then writing a review of the film, and will invite you guys to leave your thoughts in the comments.
We also have a new writer joining our team, Luis Daly. He will be writing all of our film reviews, and running that section of the website.
We have our first film review going out next week, and we will also be announcing our first film for everyone to watch.
We're really excited to launch this new venture and hope all our readers are too!
